I think it is fair to say that most of us don’t live an
overly exciting day-to-day life. But what if that could change? I love the saying - "Only boring people get bored." As silly as it sounds, when I make dinner I pretend to be a chef on the cooking network. There I ADMIT it! But, it really spices up the cooking process. When I drive to work at 6:15 in the morning, I pray to God that I can make learning fun for my 22 students and that gets me excited. Pump up the jams and you have a party. Who doesn't want to party before the sun comes up? Do it! I am a big fan
in taking those small moments and really living them up. And why shouldn’t we? I've posted before about the little things I enjoy day to day, but I have come to find more small stuff that tends to thrill me.
Love the moment.
Early morning tea in my favorite mug. See -
even our mornings, no matter how early, should be loved and enjoyed.
Surprises!
Planning a surprise party is my
favorite! Oh and so is sitting outdoors sipping tropical libations. ;)
(real, old school) neighbors
Neighbors that watch your house when you go on vacation, cut your grass once in a while just because, and hand deliver fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. It's the little things folks!

THIS!
No, my town is not the most glamourous, or exciting, but tonight I attended one of the many benefits for this family. And you know what... it gave me chills. More chills than the snow in NYC, more pride than any debate going on in Washington right now, and more excitement than a Saturday night on South Beach. This is the kind of stuff that makes me love where I live and my daily life.
Have an exciting week and don’t forget to stop and enjoy the small, but thrilling, moments!!
